On 26 March 2024, the Electronic Payment Service Providers Association (EFISZ) and the Embassy of Hungary in Brussels held an international event entitled "Hungary at the forefront of the development of the instant payments world", focusing on the electronic payment services ecosystem, cross-border cooperation, regional partnerships and best practices, taking into account the fact that EFISZ focuses on the value chain approach to services, maintaining EU competitiveness and, last but not least, on the development of partnerships in its professional activities.

The closed event was hosted by the Liszt Cultural Institute in Brussels. The main themes of the conference were to share experiences on the Instant Payment System, which has been successfully operating in Hungary since 2020, to present the latest services and regulations in the digital finance sector and to outline opportunities for further development based on good practices. The workshop also provided an opportunity for professional dialogue.

Among the partners invited to the event, National Mobile Paymen Plc. also gave a guest presentation on "Smart Platform - cross-border digital ecosystems and value chains". The overview focused on a model based on digital ecosystems and value chains, including the institutional architecture of tourism, mobility and recreation services, possible customer roles, operational frameworks, business processes and the possibilities of using eID to provide services to users through the instant payment system.

The event is a significant step towards further promoting regional electronic payment services and value chains and related cooperation.
